Europe: World Cup – Qualifiers – Final (1st match)
Match start: 21:45 (GMT+1)
Denmark and Ireland will determine what team is worth participation at the forthcoming World Cup Russia 2018. Both teams have taken the second places at their qualification groups. Denmark had lost to Poland and Ireland - to Serbia. The forthcoming match is going to be interesting for simple football fans.
Åge Hareide, as caring Daddy, had created very nice atmosphere at the national team of Denmark and managed to take the second place at his group. The squad is very strong and such football players as Eriksen, Nicolai Jørgensen, Yussuf Poulsen, Christensen, Kjær and Vestergaard are considered to be famous European football players. This summer Denmark has spent amazing match against Poland (victory with the score 4:0) and all understood that the team was able to fight for getting into the World Cup.
This football team is considered to be one of the oldest in Europe (the mean age of the football players is 29 years old), despite the fact that after EURO-2016 a lot of veterans of the Irish football had left the football. Martin O'Neill has built very strong and accurate mechanism where no stars are participating but there are always places for hard-working players. The experience of such veterans as O'Shea, Ward, Murphy, Long and McGeady helps to create very confident game. Now the national team of Ireland is much more diverse and interesting if compare with the team that participated at EURO 2016.
The teams know each other quite well but they haven’t met at international arena since 2007. The modern national team of Denmark is able to destroy the defense of its rivals and the team of Åge Hareide can both demonstrate positional game and the British style. So Denmark is favorite here.

Don’t expect bright football with many scoring chances. Traditionally, the first matches between more or less equal teams are tense and dramatic.
