England: Premier League
Match start: 20:45 (GMT+2)
The wait is over! Next scheduled 10 months football show which is called English Premier League will start on Friday at London arena - Emirates Stadium. It is obvious, that the hosts are presented by the team of Arsène Wenger.
And the first opponent of the Gunners according to the calendar schedule became the winner of EPL season 2015/2016 Leicester City. The forthcoming battle at Emirates Stadium will be held simultaneously with the match of French Ligue 1 Rennais- Olympique Lyonnais. But according to all TV ranking and numbers of made bets the match-opening of new season of EPL is beyond competition.
Arsenal London (the head coach Arsène Wenger)
For the first time for 20 years Arsenal doesn’t take part at new UEFA Champions League competition. And that is why it is in the sidelines of not only two clubs from Manchester (Chelsea and Liverpool) but even in the sidelines of its most hated rival in the Northern London – Tottenham.
But today the Gunners experience also some positive emotions. Firstly, last Sunday Arsenal won FA Community Shield but three fourth of bookmakers’ bettors preferred Chelsea. And secondly, this summer the red and whites had signed a contract which is considered to be record-breaking in the history of club (€53 million). And now center forward of the national team of France Alexandre Lacazette will be playing in attack.
Leicester City (the head coach Craig Shakespeare)
Direct opposite is the situation of the EPL ex-champion. A lot of leaders of the former team of Claudio Ranieri would like to continue their careers in another clubs. Any day now can happen the transfer of Riyad Mahrez to Italian Roma.
Even though Leicester has signed the back up forward of Manchester City Kelechi Iheanacho for €27 million. But this fact won’t help as a lot of leaders want to leave this club. And it is quite obvious that if this forward was of any interest to City, Josep Guardiola hadn’t dismissed him.
14.02.2016. Arsenal – Leicester – 2:1 (Walcott, Welbeck- Vardy);
26.04.2017. Arsenal – Leicester – 1:0 (Huth – own goal);
But now possible victory of the Gunners is more obvious and nobody doubts this fact…
Arsenal – 1.45, draw – 4.35, Leicester –7.00;
Our tip: Arsenal (Asian Handicap -1) - odds 1.93 Pinnacle
