England: Premier League
Match start: 20:45 (GMT+1)
Boss of Tottenham is the famous English businessman Daniel Levy. And for 5 years (from 2011-2016) he was persuading that of all modern tournaments both continental and national, he is interested mostly in the UEFA Champions League and EPL.
But during these years the spurs were getting only the berth to the Europe League and the team was playing always with the semi reserve squad.
Status of Vice-leader
But according to the results of last season the dream of Mr. Levy has become the reality. And after 5 years of weary wait and several changes in the coach staff the football club under the supervision of Mauricio Roberto Pochettino had returned into the Champions League.
But last autumn Tottenham together with Monaco, France and Bayern, Germany was not able to leave the group. But this spring the football club takes the second line, being ahead of its nearest rival Liverpool with 3 points.
Chelsea – 69 (29), Tottenham – 62 (29), Liverpool – 59 (30), Manchester City – 58 (29)…
During 7 weeks that are left before the ending of the English season the team of Levy will face 9 more matches. And here we have to highlight North London Derby with Arsenal (on the 30th of April), two more London Derbies with Crystal Palace (on the 26th of April) and West Ham (on the 5th of May) and home match with Manchester United (on the 13th of May).
All other opponents of Tottenham are rather “passable”.
The hosts of Liberty Stadium became the participants of EPL in summer 2011. Since then Tottenham 5 times has visited this stadium. Swansea had never won over this rival even at times when Swansea was strong English football.
But now the team is just fighting for survival together with Sunderland, Hull, Middlesbrough and other underdogs of EPL and can’t become a real threat for any team.
Swansea – 5,00, draw – 4,00, Tottenham – 1,75.
