The edition Algemeen Dagblad anonymously has asked 14 from 16 best tennis players of the country and 7 from them have declared that they received the proposals to sell the match.
According to the investigation made by the Goverment of the country in 2015 only 4% of the tennis players from the Netherlands had met with the proposals to sell the match.
"For some players this proposal is very attractive. Trying to win the pair tournament for few houndred Euro or selling one match and get 5 000 Euro?", - said the 777th ranked racket Paul Monteban.
It has become known at the end of April that All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club will enhance the sum of financial package to fight against the practice of selling matches and doping cases in Wimbledon. The executive director of the organization Richard Lewis has said that this measure shows the serious intentions in fighting for the integrity of the tennis.
