The British wrote a letter of claim to Seanie Mac bookmaker with the requirement to pay him a prize of £245 000 ($320 000)
The bettor had sent a letter of claim to the Sportsbetting and Gaming Services Limited company which is the owner of the online bookmaker Seanie mac, as the Guardian reports.
The British registered the account in December, 2016 and made several successful bets and then in March, 2017 he made a request for withdrawal of his money. Then, according to him, he received thousands of letters from the company that were full of promises to pay the sum.
So, in the letter of April 21 the Operations director of Seanie Mac Garret Kor had written that the company can't make the payment up to the moment the tranche from the USA is received. "I hoped that it will come today, but it seems that the question is postponed till tomorrow or until Monday" — it was said in the text of the letter. Also in the letter the representative of the company asked about payment by installments and reported that the company will make the plan of payments. According to the client, it was the last message from the bookmaker containing any information.
"We monitor the situation in Seanie Mac. I recognize that many clients of the company are facing problems. If the bookmaker won’t manage to pay off its clients then Sportsbetting and Gaming Services will make it. As the owners of the license, we take the full responsibility for all that is happening. I won't go into details and I can only tell that in the nearest future all clients will receive the money" — the executive director of SGS Steve Fischer declared.
Seanie Mac bookmaker till last April was using the Boylesports bookmaker line and in autumn 2016 had bought the ApolloBet company.
