The forward of the Real Madrid Cristiano Ronaldo is suspected of tax fraud for the period of time from 2011 till 2013 and therefore €8m were not paid, as Cadena Ser reports.
Spanish internal revenue agency is discussing the question whether the actions of the Portuguese football player are a tax crime or only administrative foul. The matter is that the forward had tried to put all his affairs in order before the inspection.
If Cristiano's deeds are qualified as administrative foul, then he will have to pay €8m. If they consider that the Portuguese had committed a tax crime, then he may face a money penalty (the above-mentioned sum) and prison sentence up to 4 months.
