World Cup 2022 in Qatar is under threat because of the severance of diplomatic relations between Doha and the neighboring Arab countries, as The Guardian reports.

"The world football community agrees that the large tournaments shouldn't take place in the countries which actively advocate terrorism", - has declared the head of the German football union Reinhard Grindel, having promised to discuss this problem with UEFA and the government of Germany.

Earlier Egypt, Bahrain, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Libya have broken off diplomatic relations with Qatar, having accused the country leaders of lending support to the terrorist organizations.
