Blizzard has banned 7 players of StarCraft 2 because of two fixed matches and smurfing

The Blizzard Entertainment has blocked accounts of seven Chinese players of StarCraft 2 after they have been convicted of fixed matches and smurfing.

Blizzard and the organizer of tournaments of the GCS Netease series have determined the facts of fixed matches and smurfing at a number of large Chinese tournaments, including qualification round of the reality show Star of China, qualification during the first season of GPL, the Chinese qualification on Kung Fu Super League.

Accounts of players in system are blocked for good, the cyber sportsmen who were also convicted of fraud are disqualified for a period of six months up to two years for all official tournaments. Nevertheless, the players have managed to avoid judicial proceedings.
