The Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico has accused youth teams of Italy and Germany of organizing a fixed match. The match has been played in the European championship in category U21.

During the group stage of the European championship among youth teams Italy has won over Germany with the score 1:0. The only goal was scored by Federico Bernardeschi. This result has brought both teams into playoff and left Slovakia by the board of competitions.

Slovakia has taken the second place in group A, having scored six points. However in the top list of the teams which have taken in group the second place Germany became the best and reached the semifinal. If Italy and Germany would play in draw, Slovakia has reached the play off.

The Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico has sent the letter to the President of UEFA Aleksander Čeferin, as Mirror reports.

In the letter Mr. Fico has declared that the match Italy — Germany was a fixed one. The politician has urged to investigate circumstances of a match and to take measures to prevent such situations in future.
