The citizen of Kansas State Victoria Ethridge won $30 000 in a lottery. The cashier of the shop who accidentally sold the wrong ticket was "responsible" for a prize.
The woman was going to buy two lottery tickets for $2 each but the cashier accidentally sold her tickets for $5, as UPI reports.
The cashier has noticed the mistake and proposed to change the tickets and to return money. The American refused, having noted that those tickets can be happy.
And so has happened. One of the coupons brought to Ethridge the prize of $30 000.
"I was checking tickets at home all alone. It was the real shock" — the successful woman has told. Besides, the American claimed that she is going to buy a car on winning money.
