Tuukka Rask continued to improve his gaming conditions and reached the Conference final being at their peak. Carolina was destroyed in both matches on TD Garden (5:2 and 6:2), Hurricanes had no chances in Raleigh as well (2:1 and 4:0).

On the course of the first game of the final Boston was losing with the score 0:2, however the hosts could win (4:2).

St. Louis Blues

The Blues began their way with two wins in Canada (2:1 and 4:3) however Paul Maurice’s team quickly answered with the same score (3:6 and 1:2, OT). Winnipeg couldn’t cope with the rival and let the club from Missouri to get into the next round (3:2 and 3:2).

The series against Dallas began with exchange of games in St. Louis (3:2 and 2:4) and Texas (4:3 and 2:4). Craig Berube’s team was losing after the fifth match (1:2), but they have managed to find forces to fight up to the end (4:1 and 2:1, OT).

Alex Pietrangelo’s team had no time to rest and for the first time began with a loss in the West final (3:6). St. Louis won one away match (4:2) and then San Jose by miracle won the 3rd game (4:5, OT). Jordan Binnington and his partners didn’t feel sorry for the rival (2:1, 5:0 and 5:1) any more.

The decisive series of the tournament began for the guests successfully, however they didn’t manage to keep the advantage in two goals.

Bruins could take the lead in the series but they could easily lose. We propose to choose more favorable option with the Blues once again.
