Date: on the 27th of May, 2019 (Monday)
Match start: 10:00 (GMT+1)
Tournament: Roland Garros. France.
Novak Djokovic will fight against Hubert Hurkacz on the 27th of May and we have prepared the prediction for this match. Whether the first racket of the world will manage to move further without difficulties?
The Serbian is spending rather difficult but at the same time the successful round. Everything began with the victory in the Australian Open Tennis Championships where in the final he has won over Rafael Nadal.
After that Djokovic has slowed down a little bit and gained the good gaming condition only at the beginning of the clay court season. The first racket of the world has failed Masters in Monte Carlo but he has improved situation in Madrid -in decisive fight he has won over “the King of court”.
The tournament in Rome became the following step of Novak. The native of Belgrade was very close to win in Italy but this time Rafa took the revenge.
As for Roland Garros, the representative of Serbia has managed to gain the main trophy only once in his career. It happened in 2016 when Djokovic has coped in four sets with British Andy Murray.
The Polish tennis player has showed nice game this season this season but to tell the truth only in games on the hard court. As for clay court tournaments, 22-year-old tennis player is lacking experience.
Hubert has managed to spend several good matches on Masters in Madrid. The native of Wroclaw has successfully overcome qualification stage, then was fighting with Alex de Minaur and kicked out Lucas Pouille from the fight. But he didn’t cope with Alexander Zverev.
Hurkacz is rather talented tennis player who due to his height is doing great on the baseline and also possesses powerful serve. But only the matches against such “monsters” of world tennis as Novak Djokovic will help the representative of Poland to reach a new level.
Since the beginning of the season Djokovic has played 13 matches and won 11 games.
Hurkacz lost three last matches on clay court.
A year before Novak has been knocked out from Major in Paris at the quarterfinal stage.
The first racket of the world is the favourite of not only the match with Hubert Hurkacz but also one of the main challengers for the trophy in Paris. We assume that the motivation of the Serbian will help him to lower in class the young opponent: after all Novak Djokovic is doing much better on clay court than the Polish tennis player.
