UEFA can toughen FFP rules

The UEFA can toughen the rules of financial fair play. The union is developing the new rule concerning the terms of transfers depreciation.

It is supposed that by new rules the football clubs will be obliged to pay the whole sum of transfer within three years at most.

For example, PSG has paid Barcelona €222 million for Neymar but in financial documents which are considered by UEFA, the transfer sum is divided for five years (contract term of Neymar with Parisians). €44.4 million for this transition are considered annually.

By new rules the clubs can divide payments for transfers for three years at most. In the case of Neymar payments would make €74 million during the season.
