Date: on the 30th of January, 2019 (Wednesday)
Match start: 21:00 (GMT+1)
Tournament: Championship of England. The Premier League.
Tottenham is the only team that hasn’t tied any match (17 wins and 6 losses) in frames of the current 23 round of the EPL tournament. We don’t want to speak about the wins as they were different but the losses are standard: United, Liverpool, Arsenal and well “furnished” Wolverhampton. Only Watford that has won over Tottenham with the score 2:1 doesn’t suit the star cohort.
That win became the forth in a row for the Hornets and all started to talk about one more sensation like Leicester fairy-tale for Watford. Of course, this is funny story as later the Yellow Army have slowed down and failed the middle of the autumn but closer to the Boxing Day the situation started to improve.
Since the 10th of December the team of Javi Gracia has lost one match out of 10 last games – they have lost to Chelsea. Also the number of draws is huge but this is rather an advantage of Watford as the football players have demonstrated their character and desire to fight.
These intentions will be found side by side with the desire of Tottenham to clear itself of the defeat during the first half of the championship. The Spurs under ordinary circumstances would have become obvious favorite but now they can’t wait for Alli and Kane.
Also it is not clear, in what condition Son will return from UAE and bearing in mind defeat from Crystal Palace with the score 0:2 we can assume that it would be very difficult for the hosts to score the goal to Watford. Watford will play in defense.
And when Tottenham wants to score many goals but can’t (and also won’t forget about its defense) and the rival is playing like all other EPL underdogs, the audience won’t enjoy many scored goals.
